Dining in the serene garden area on a sunny October afternoon was a highlight; it offered a beautiful backdrop to the exquisite meals. Breakfast was noteworthy, featuring homemade jams that added a touch of local flavor to the spread. I appreciated the self-service aspect, available between 8 am and 10 am, allowing for a leisurely morning. Upon my host's recommendation, I explored the nearby Faladur restaurantone evening. It was satisfying to have excellent dining options without the need to drive after dinner. The cozy accommodations, rich in history, provided easy access to several small family-run wineries within walking distance, making this a perfect spot for both wine enthusiasts and those seeking a culinary getaway.
